• Case management and service coordination for:

~ Follow-up medical care
~ Reporting to CPS/law enforcement
~ Victim/witness assistance programs
~ Crisis intervention
~ Case consultations with healthcare, law enforcement, protective services staff, and other professionals

• Education programs for parents and professionals

• Individual, family, and group psychotherapy

• Prevention services in schools and community centers throughout Alameda County

• Psychosocial assessments of children and families

DOVES Project: Housed at the Center for Child Protection, the DOVES Project offers education, screening, counseling, and advocacy services to battered caregivers and to children exposed to domestic violence. DOVES Project phone number: (510) 428-3135

• Acute forensic medical evaluations are conducted following recent sexual assault of children less than 14 years of age. The hospital operator will contact the social worker covering sexual assault evaluations in the Emergency Department and alert hospital staff. Please note that adolescents 14 years and older who require an acute medical evaluation after a recent sexual assault should be referred to Highland Hospital, (510) 437-8341.
