From North – via Interstate 80:
Stay left on I-80 in Emeryville, but not farthest left lane—it is a carpool only lane to SF. Take I-580 Hayward exit, then merge to right lane and take Berkeley/Walnut Creek Hwy. 24 exit. Take the 51st/Martin Luther King exit (exit is to the right just as connector ramp straightens out). Bear left (under freeway) onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way and turn right on 52nd Street. The hospital will be on your right, parking on your left.

From Central Contra Costa County – Hwy 24: Take Telegraph Avenue exit. Turn left on Telegraph and turn right on 52nd Street. The hospital will be on the left, parking on your right.

From South – Nimitz Freeway (880): Follow signs for I-980 to Berkeley/Walnut Creek Hwy. 24. Exit at 51st/Martin Luther King. Bear left (under freeway) onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and right on 52nd Street. The hospital will be on your right, parking on your left.

From 24 West: Exit West Grand Ave./27th St. Turn left onto 27th St., Turn left onto Telegraph Ave. Turn right onto Hawthorne Ave. Turn right onto Summit St.

From 580 West: Exit MacArthur/Harrison.

Go straight on MacArthur Blvd., Turn left onto Broadway Ave. Go 2 blocks and turn right on Hawthorne Ave. Turn left onto Summit St.

From 580 East: Exit on Broadway/Webster Street – take the Webster exit. Turn left at the stop sign onto Webster. Turn right at the next stop onto Hawthorne Ave. Turn left onto Summit Street.

From 880 North: Exit Broadway Ave. Turn right onto Broadway Ave., Turn left on Hawthorne Ave. Turn left onto Summit Street.

From 80 South: Merge to 580 East, Use the 580 East directions.

Parking is available at the Providence garage. Enter on Summit St., between Hawthorne Ave. and 30th St.

Parking

Fees
The parking fee is $1.25 for each hour or fraction of an hour, or $6 for a full day with overnight stay.

Parking for cars with disabled tags is on the first floor of the garage. Parking booklets with 10 one-day passes are available for $32 at the garage exit booth or the security office located on the second floor of the garage.

In-and-out privileges
If you have paid for a full day and would like in-and-out privileges, ask for a receipt on your way out. Show that receipt when you return that day and you will not be charged again.

Escort
Dial 3600 for Security Services if you would like an escort to your car late at night.

Metered parking
Metered parking is available near the hospital on 52nd Street.
